You can find more information and the registration link on our course homepage:
https://pathologie.medunigraz.at/postgraduate-course-lung-pleural-diseases

This course will be open for registration from October 1st, 2024.

The number of participants is limited (first-come first served-basis).

We will be very happy to welcome you as well as your interested colleagues at the course.

Here are some steps during registration:

  1. Register for participation using the homepage; once registered you are in!
  2. Later you will get an invoice with the payment – we will send out invoices beginning in January 2025
  3. Once you have paid your seat is fixed and your participation is automatically confirmed – there will be no additional letter/mail
  4. After payment you will receive the login information to access the digital case box of the course – you will find 3 folders, No1 is about tumors, No2+3 is about non-tumor pathology (Overall there are more than 700 cases selected); this mail is also your confirmation for the course; in case you have booked one part only your access to the cases will be also limited
  5. Hotel rooms at the site of the course will be available – Hotel Weitzer, Grieskai 12-14, Graz – a booking link will be provided upon request
  6. You can state your interest to take part in an excursion into southern Styria  - this is a whole day tour (on Sunday, after part 1 and before part2); we need a minimum of 25 participants to keep up with the expenses. Once the number of participants is reached, you will get another invoice for payment of the excursion fee (€ 200). A statement such as “I do not know” does not help me, as I have to book a bus and make reservation in an old mill, a fortress, and a restaurant for evening dinner. Every expense is included in the fee. If not enough participants register, the excursion will not take place.

With kind regards,
Helmut Popper, MD, Course Director,
Co-Directors: Kristine Konopka, Dept. Pathology, Michigan Medicine, Ann Arbor, USA, Ulrike Gruber-Moesenbacher MD
